The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, for the most part, is largely considered as one of the Finnish company’s most affordable touchscreen phones out now. It packs a modest 3.2-megapixel AF camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, and ships with a 4GB microSD card to complement its paltry 70MB internal memory. The downside is that it doesn’t come with 3G connectivity nor does it boast of any exciting apps. However, Nokia’s newest release in the US, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition, aims to change the latter by bundling it with a total of 20 games from renowned developers EA Mobile and Gameloft. Yeah, a hardware upgrade would have been better, but the added apps is still a nice touch. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games edition is now available in the US and retailing for $269.

Given, however, that the basic Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is now selling for just $219, we’d rather just save our $50 and go with the standard version, but that’s just us. How about you guys? Is this new Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition an interesting buy for you folks out there?

Nokia 5530 XPressMusic is the successor of the popular Nokia 5800 and it is the third phone in the 5th edition handset of Nokia. However, since this is a phone which is specially designed for music lovers, it has 3.5 mm standard audio jack and powerful stereo speakers for good quality surround system, in which the user will be satisfied in listening to some cool music. Actually, this is also a touch phone which enables the user to touch the screen with a point of a finger or a specially made touch screen pen or stick which you can touch it more easier than ever, and its unique design is just like more than IPhone. It has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and a color display of 2.9 inch 16M. Going back to the IPod like, it seems that when we compare the best-selling Apple IPod and the Nokia 5530 XPressMusic, it is much more unique because of its quality features that could surpass the Apple IPod. In terms of competition to global sales and marketing strategies, Nokia has studied every concept and every information of their legitimate competitors like Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Alcatel and other huge companies which are on the way to compete with the others, they always form a new concept in which the customers must rely on, because every year, more and more models from different companies are released and prepared to sell it in the big mobile market, in which their strategy is to surpass the features on which other third parties don’t have, and when it comes to originality, Nokia always have that, because they are the fast evolving mobile phone companies ever in which design and features are unique than any other phones, that will guarantee their customer’s satisfaction. Just like Nokia XPressMusic phones like 5530 and 5800, they are showing how much customers both need communication and music to entertain them at the same time, at the same place in one device.

One thing that surprises them is that, Nokia 5530 XPressMusic does not have GPS than any other Nokia touch phones, and it also not supporting the HSPDA/UMTS, in which results that this phone may set this price lower, and it has a 3.2 MP camera, that includes LED flash, in which its features are quite innovative like a proximity and accelerometer sensors for enhanced quality précised pictures. Although every mobile device has an advantage and disadvantage, one thing for sure, the important matter to this phone, is to make this phone as their buddy anywhere they go, in terms of music and communication to one another, as well as capturing moments, it really doesn’t matter at all. It will be launched soon in the lower markets for now, but with an expected cheap price, which has not yet been implemented. If they’re looking for a mobile phone and an IPod in which they will carry both, why not only one which you can carry both music and communication in one device at the same time? If they’re hunting for a 2-in-1 type innovative kind of mobile phone, then Nokia 5530 XPressMusic is for them.
